Living Historians and Reenactors based in Northeastern Tennessee offering the public a glimpse of what life was like in another time!
Since 2011, our living history organization has hosted a Veterans salute event known
as 'A Walk in Their Boots'. The event is held the weekend prior to Veterans Day and
offers opportunities to visit extensive displays of military and civilian equipment,
gear, weapons, etc., representing various time periods from Revolutionary War to
Modern Day. The event is free to attend, and features our Veterans Recognition Program,
battle re-enactments, weapons demos, military vehicles, a lecture series and more. We also
offer a private 'Education Day,' for local student groups to experience a 'day in the life' of the
American Soldier during the conflicts that shaped our country's rich history.

We encourage those attending the event, whether they are Veterans, family members or friends of Veterans, to help recognize their service and sacrifice by sharing their stories and memories with the Living Historians on site.
